Hands-On AI for Healthcare: Practical Tools, Prompting, and Real-World Applications

This interactive workshop introduces the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and generative AI, highlighting key model types, applications, and limitations in healthcare settings. Participants will gain hands-on experience using widely available generative AI tools, learn effective prompting techniques, and explore practical ways to accelerate literature reviews and learning while understanding important considerations for responsible use in clinical practice.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the basic types of artificial intelligence, their main differences and main applications
Be able to use commonly available generative AI models using simple, yet powerful prompting techniques and approaches
Be able to explain some of the limitations of current generative AI models and considerations when using them in healthcare
How to use these models to accelerate and improve literature reviews and learning on a topic.
